PC Upgrades

Upgrading your PC is a great way to enhance system performance. We can purchase the correct hardware for your PC and upgrade it on your premises. Alternatively, you can purchase your own upgrades and have us install them.

Memory Upgrade (RAM)

Upgrading the computer's RAM (Random Access Memory) is the cheapest way to boost performance. A few years ago, just 32MB or 64MB of RAM was adequate for most PCs. However, with the latest advances in software, operating systems and multimedia packages it is recommended that you have a minimum of 256MB. Those of you who perform graphics-intensive work such as image editing, video editing or even playing the latest games, it is recommended that you have at least 512MB of RAM.

What's included:
  • Removal of old memory (if necessary)
  • Installation of new memory
  • Test PC to ensure installation worked correctly

Hard Disk Upgrade

The hard disk is one of the most important components of your PC. It is on the hard drive that the computer stores the operating system, programs, and all of your data. If you are running out of space on your hard disk, an upgrade may be necessary. A faster and more reliable hard drive will considerably improve your overall computing experience.

What's included:
  • Removal of old hard disk (if necessary)
  • Installation of new hard disk
  • Test PC to ensure installation worked correctly
What's not included:
